Crematoria mercury emissions

Reagents designed to reduce mercury emissions

In 2005 the requirement was put in place for a proportion of UK crematoria to have suitable equipment fitted to reduce their mercury emissions to air. Several types of abatement system are available, however the vast majority of systems involve the use of blended activated carbon reagents to ‘capture’ mercury vapour instead of releasing it to the environment.

Blend-i-Pack supply reagents designed to reduce mercury emissions from crematoria. We offer a cost effective service, with advice on handling and disposal.

Reagent can be tailored to match existing product and we offer the flexibility to change packaging sizes/delivery times to fit in with customer’s requirements.
